Well back in March of 1996 when the Internet was just a gleam in Al Gore's eye and the 14.4 modem was the speed burner of choice, this site was born. It all started with a few piddling GIFs inspired by my school notebooks and it just grew from there. A lot has happened since then and times have changed, but we keep going strong through our 15th year.

I'd like to thank everyone who has helped make the site possible and keep coming back for more. I'll keep going at it so long as you do the same.

I'm happy Matt kept with his niche site instead of making something like Newgrounds and boatloads of cash. Our community has been pretty good, if a bit cynical, unlike bigger ones like Newgrounds. You still getting enough revenue to keep the site up Matt? If you start to run dry, you can remove the unused stuff, like the flashes.

in march of 96 I was 3, my 1st year if school. I got into stick animation when I was in 5th grade at the age of 11 back in 02, or 03... joined SFDT in 04.

Fair enough. I guess I just assumed that if you had been here longer than a year you'd have developed as an artist, animator, musician, or something. But you seem to be terrible at damn near everything.
